Dear NEMJDS Parents, 
Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year! We look forward to another successful and productive year and hope that, with your help, PTA can play a vital role in the success of our school. 

PTA DUES: $95 Per Family (suggested annual fee)

Your tax deductible contribution can be paid with a check payable to NEMJDS PTA.
Last year, the PTA was able to contribute as follows: 

• The school’s operating budget
• Teacher Appreciation and monthly treats
• Kindergarten Play date
• Volunteer support for both the Judaic and Scholastic book fairs
• Room parent support for our teachers and classrooms

This year, it is the PTA’s goal to raise $7000 from dues and from fundraising (one of which will be the cookie dough/cheesecake sales in September). We are hoping to provide a donation to the PTA Avoday M’halev Teacher Salary and Benefits Initiative. This fund is to provide teachers with retirement and benefit money.

Your dues are essential in helping the PTA meet its goal. PTA is always busy with projects at school, so there is an opportunity for everyone to participate. Whether you are interested in driving for a field trip, preparing for a school event, helping in the classroom, fundraising or other activities, the PTA wants your involvement!
