At A Glance
Founded in 1973, NEMJDS is a co-educational community Jewish Day School located on the Jewish Community Campus, a 70 acre facility in the heart of Birmingham, Alabama. The school serves a talented and religiously diverse student body, offering a dual curriculum of Judaic and General studies to all qualified students. All admissions decisions are determined without regard to race, ethnic background, or religious affiliation.

- Mitzvah Tree Service Project for all grade levels serves local non-profit organizations.

- Birmingham Jewish Federation/Jewish Community Relations Committee (JCRC) Speaker’s Bureau frequently offers programming for students.
- NEMDJS hosts the Alabama Symphony for performances open to the general community.
